Hello gentlemens!
I am a fan of military from Poland.
I have had Daf Y126 for several years now. Unfortunately, I still don't have enough time to renovate it and enjoy it 100%.
I hope that with your help it can be achieved.

Hi Darson
Welcom on the site.
I hope you will find the answers you need to keep the Daf YA126 rolling.
When you have questions ask them in English, there are a lot of members who read and speak English.
succes
Bert.

Re: Hi !
Hello.
The car is technically operational. Engine, brakes, electrics are ok.
I miss the original door and I have to buy off-road tires.
If you help me in these matters, I will be grateful.
What tires do you put on your DAFs? From what modern car do they fit?
And maybe someone has a door to sell?

Hi Darson,
the tires I see on the pricture are pretty good off road tires but you can fit most ground equipment tires from michelin or continental for example. Michelin ZXL is a favorite for a lot of drivers. An other option is installing Unimog 9-20 rims with 10.5-20 tires, they are bit easier to get and more comfortable to drive. You will loos a little torque but will gain a little topspeed because the tires are a bit bigger.
Doors are not very easy to get sadly, best to check the dutch military facebooksites or marktplaats.nl

Re: Hi !
Thank you for the post and the hint. Unfortunately, these tires skid very much on wet grass. Sometimes I cannot drive into the garage up the hill.
And if the door can't be bought then I'll have to do it. I even have an idea how to do it.
Greetings.
Darson
